Mike Peebler has always been an actor. Starting with the lead role in the school play at age 7, and most recently on the A&E Pilot The Infamous, Mike has vigorously pursued excellence in his craft at every turn.

This pursuit of excellence led him to train as an actor at Northwestern University for his Bachelor’s in acting and subsequently to UCLA for an MFA in the craft. Once in Los Angeles, Mike continued his artistic endeavors while at the same time working to enrich the communities in which he lived. Mike has performed leading roles at several prominent LA theaters over the last 15 years including Hamlet, Brutus, Tom Joad, Orlando, Edmund, Romeo, Henry V and many more. His emphasis on Shakespeare has led him into countless schools in the LA area as a teacher and director, as well as around the country teaching his original “Actor’s Guide to Shakespeare” workshop to thousands of blossoming high school actors.

Mike’s on-camera acting work includes appearances on over 20 network television shows including Mad Men, Chicago PD, Masters of Sex, American Horror Story, The Mentalist, The Infamous (Pilot), and films such as Bryan Singer’s “Valkyrie”.

In addition to his acting and directing work, Mike has served on the board of the non-profit Our House Grief Counseling Center, serving for the last two years as its chair. He is proud of the work they do providing grief counseling services to those in need in the LA area.
